Baby Betty

The title of the post pretty much speaks for itself.

Jes and I have exciting news....WE ARE HAVING OUR FIRST BABY!

I can't believe it. I am SOOO excited. I think it's safe to say the majority of the blog will be featuring baby. I might just be a mommy blogger now. hahah

I had my first sonogram at 8 weeks, but I could hardly see anything. It was like a tiny jelly bean. I had another sonogram at 11 weeks, where the little baby was a bit bigger.
I am due on April 30th! Spring time baby! Winter is definitely the best time to be pregnant.
 A baby bump is starting.

Betty Booooo

When most people says, "It's the most wonderful time of the year," they are talking about Christmas. Not me. To me, the most wonderful time is fall and HALLOWEEN!
My blueberry, *ahem* Boo Berry smoothie haha
Supposed to be for the trick-or-treaters, but no. It's for me.
My friend Erin and me. We went to carve pumpkins are her house.

She also made a fall banner for crafty time.

Jesse and Lorelai workin on them pumpkins.
 Erin being funny. Punkin head...

 Cookies and carving!

Of course, we have to roast pepitas when we are done. Yummy!!

Jesse's mom knows how much I love Halloween. She brought me some very cool decorations to put out.
We dressed up a mimes for work.
 I did almost everyone's makeup.
Doc and Jesse. They look like they are from insane clown posse.
Costume contest at work. We didn't win, but we still had fun dressing up!

Birthday Betty

Jesse had a birthday in September. He always works really hard, so I wanted to take him on a little weekend getaway for his birthday.

There were many places I thought of we hadn't visited  locally, so we took a weekend trip to Dallas and visited Dave and Busters for some video game fun and fried junk food, the Wax Museum, and the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. We also stopped for some shopping. We stopped at World Market, of course, can't pass that up. We also went to the Beer and Wine Superstore, where Jes was very happy to find HofBrau brew Dunkel and a build your own six pack.

I didn't get photos of Dave and Busters because it was too dark in there, but I did get some candid photos from our Wax Museum Visit.
