Saturday was my Wonderland Baby Shower, and it was GREAT! This baby shower was for family and friends of the family. I was so excited to see everyone all together. These pictures are from my phone, which was about to die. I had used most of the battery on the GPS. My mom took some pics with her good camera though, and I can get those up on the blog as soon as I get them from her.
At the shower, we arrived and everyone was sitting in their cute little mad hatter hats my mom hand-made.
Upon arrival, guest were encouraged to come choose their own hat.
I picked the Alice Hat of course.
Even the guys wore a hat...
Although, they don't look too happy about it in this pic. haha
I didn't take too many pics of myself because I have hit the "I feel ugly stage" of my pregnancy. My nose feels wider, my face feels fatter, but I did have to get a pic of my cute little hat. These were a hit! Everyone took theirs home. haha
My sis Holly and her boyfriend rockin' their hats too. Aren't they cuuuuuuute?
Guests were still arriving when I got there, so I decided to walk around the Roseville Bed and Breakfast tea room and check things out.
Every room pretty much had a white rabbit which definitely fit the Alice in Wonderland theme. We even played a game where everyone had to find white rabbits hidden in the room. Those who found a paper white rabbit, got a prize.
The tea station...
My mom did a great job on decorating. She brought her own tea pots from home for centerpieces. Some of them were gifts from me throughout the years.
I loved that they were little instruction cards like "Drink Me" or "Eat Me" just like Alice in Wonderland. The sugar cubes were sooo cool too. I wish I had some for my tea at home.
This is a Queen of Hearts centerpiece my mom made. Isn't she so creative and talented?!
If you notice, the roses are painted red..."painting the roses red."
My mom made this diaper cake as well. It has the cutest Funko Alice in Wonderland Collectibles on there!!! I want the baby to play with them, but at the same time, I want to put them on the shelf.
There was pink lemonade to drink for those non-tea drinkers. I got too hasty and took a pic before the punch was in there. haha
Being preggo, and a food enthusiast, you know I'm gunna take tons of pics of the food!
We had cucumber sandwiches, assorted sandwiches, tomato avacado dip and chips, ham wrapped asparagus, fruit, lemon tarts, and pettifors.
The pettifors were so yummy and dainty! I love it. We even got some left over to take home!
I had some raspberry tea with sugar and lemon.
These were my favorite. It was ham wrapped asparagus...very delish.
The cucumber sandwiches were really good too and complimented the tea.
The lemon tarts were tasty as well. Everything was!
We played a game where guests had to put in how many candies they thought were in the bottle. My dad won, guessing close to 1,000. I can't remember the exact number but it was close to 1,000. I feel bad my mom had to hand count all of those! My dad didn't want the candy and donated it to me of course. :)
We played another game with cloths pins. If anyone said the word "baby" or "cute," they had to give up their pin. Whoever had the most pins won. I obviously lost. I said "cute," "baby," and "awwwww" about a million times. Especially, I said these words when it was time to open gifts.
Here are some random candid moments of family and friends at the shower. I didn't warn anyone when I was taking a pic, because I wanted it to look natural. haha
Here's one of my mom. Doesn't she look preeettyy?

The morrow girls
My mom spent much of her time planning and crafting things for this party. She did awesome. I like the "Off with her gifts" poster she made.
Baby morrow is already so loved. She received TONS of clothes, diapers, blankets, wipes, bottles and brushes, towels, bath time toys and wash, teething accessories, medicines, a grooming and safety kit, a bassinet, changing pad, books, a high chair, playtime toys, and more. I will try to post some of my favorite gifts I got on a separate blog post. Friends and co-workers are throwing me another shower tomorrow here at A&M.
Anyway, Mom followed the theme all the way. She made rice crispie treat cards for party favors.
Tammy, Lyndsey, Whitney, and Tonya ( the hostesses) and my mom did a fantastic job planning my shower. I loved the tea party idea and how everything was so detailed and themed to match. I wish we could have a tea party every week! haha
I feel so humbled that everyone came together to shower us with love and support.
We received so many gifts. It took several trips up and down the stairs to bring it all in. Then, the fun part started, organizing and putting everything together!
We were both pretty tired from all the excitement of the day, so we only got the bassinet and shelf put together, but we've still got some time. :)
I even got to enjoy some of the food from the tea party for the next day.
What an awesome tea party for baby morrow. I think this should start a tradition of having tea parties with my daughter. :)
