Oct 29th: I went to get a haircut, and took Indie with me, so she could meet my stylist, Anna. She was so good the whole time. She didn't cry at all! Riding in style to go pick up a drink at Sonic.
Indie HATES it when the sun is in her eyes, so I put her shades on her.
She is my little ray of sunshine!
Then we both got sick with a bug. YUCK! At least we got it out of the way before Halloween and Thanksgiving. The best part of being sick is all the baby snuggles!
Gram bought this funny Halloween onesie for Indie.
Next day, I took Indie to work with me. I wanted to show her off in her cute little Snow White costume from Aunt Gabby.
She is out precious, perfect, little princess.
I thought she would hate wearing the costume, but I think she actually liked it! lol
Papa Scott came down on Halloween, and we took Indie to pick out pumpkins to carve.
Of course, we had to take pics of our little cutie in the pumpkin patch.
She is the cutest pumpkin in the patch!
I love everything about Halloween. I'm going to be that mom who trick-or-treats with her kids. haha
This year, me and Indie were unicorns.
I loved the rainbow eye shadow!
It was fun crafting my unicorn horn headband. Now, Indie has something to play dress up when she is older.
Indie is such a pretty pony in her unicorn costume!
This costume she didn't like or wear for too long. I think she was hot in it.
A mama and baby unicorn
After pumpkin pickin', dad took us to Jasons deli for some lunch.
A unicorn loves her cones!
Papa Scott brought Indie some toys too! She got a new night-time, snuggly bear. It lights up and plays lullabies.
And it worked putting her to sleep!
Indie has started teething. She was being an extreme fussy pants the night of Halloween, so we didn't get to go trick-or-treating like I had planned. My work was doing a trunk-or-treat, and I planned on taking her. She didn't seem up for it though. We just let her trick-or-treat at our own house. I told Jes I was taking her outside, and to just give us candy when we knocked on the door. lol It's obviously more for me than it is for her.
She has started sucking her top lip. I thought it was just a cute funny face, but other mama's are telling me it's a sign of teething.
Mummy's little monster!
Pumpkin butt!
In the floor for some play and tummy time.
The day after Halloween, we were still celebrating. lol
I had to get a pic of her in her owl costume!
She didn't like this costume to much either. She just wore it long enough to snap a pic.
After that, we were carving dem punkins!
I don't think we planned on it, but our pumpkins kind of look like Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas.
We did watch that movie the week before, so maybe there was some influence. I originally was going for Chesire Cat, but I messed up on the eyes, so I just kept carving away and this is what turned out. haha
Doc and Erin carved pumpkins too. Then I made a little lantern garden out of it.
I was just goofing around trying to take a halloween/ creepy pic.
Erin brought us some candy and I made pepitas with the left over pumpkin seeds. So many tasties!!
Nov 2nd: Indie is the apple of my eye.
I got blue contacts so me and Indie can look a little bit alike. haha
Nov 3rd: my little bumble bee
Nov 05th: Wearing the pink and camo outfit Papa Scott got for her.
She is so pretty in pink!
