Indie loves her bear she got from Granny and Grandad for Christmas. She carries it around, hugs it, kisses it, and snuggles with it. She says "Beaaa" ( bear) in the cutest, sweetest voice.
It sucks I have to work and don't get to see Indie all day. That's why I really treasure bath time. It's time for us girls to catch up.
Indie knows how to turn off light switches now!
See?! Told you she loves that bear.
Naked butt! It's a challenge to get a clothes and diaper on Indie after her bath. She really fights it and runs away.
She was super excited about this Styrofoam bowl.
This is Indie's face when daddy is unwrapping candy. lol
Sweet girl LOVES to play outside.
She will walk up to the glass door and bang on it until we let her outside.
She has started carrying purses and bags and saying "bye-bye" after she puts them on her arm.
I suppose she is used to seeing us grab the diaper bags and say "let's go bye-bye."
Watching the Wiggles. They were singing a song about "Dressing up in style", so mommy dressed up Indie too.
Indie also loves animals and she wants to play and pet the puppy so bad, but she is a little too rough sometimes, and Winnie gets snippy at her. Easy Lenny! haha Here she is playing with Winnie.
Indie also likes to look at her books.
The book she is looking at in this picture was Jesse's when he was little.
Indie is a little jokester/prankster and likes to make people laugh.
She was putting a bucket on her head trying to get laughs out of me (which worked).
This was in April, so it was a bit too cold too swim, but that didn't stop Indie from playing in the pool.
We were about to leave to go celebrate her friend, Emma's, 1st birthday.
Her are Indie and Emma playing together.
Indie likes digging through my lunch box when I get home from work. This day she found an apple and decided to eat it like a big girl.
Here she is again thinking she is a big girl...playing a game on mommy's phone.
We are trying to wean the bottle. It's been tough. She is particular about sippy cups. We can only get her to really drink from one that has a straw. We are down to one bottle a day, so that is a success!
Crystal has helped us out in a great way by sending clothes and toys to Indie.
Indie likes this monkey toy. You put a ball in the top and it spits it out. In this pic Indie is looking like she is wondering where that ball went. lol
Indie is an animal lover. We are teaching her to say "Here Kitty Kitty."
The neighbors cat is nice and let's Indie pet him.
This was on Indie's smash cake photo shoot day.
Erin in action.
A little bunny hopping away from the photoshoot. lol
Daddy and Indie cuddling.
I loved this outfit Aunt Megan got her!
Indie hears the word "bad" a lot. She like to get in the trash, try to touch light sockets, plugs, and well anything potentially dangerous or something she isn't suppose to have. She is so sassy. She now points to me and daddy and says WE are bad. lol
We do inhibit her from doing what she wants to do, so I guess in her eyes that does make us "bad." lol
We were sitting on the porch and watching it rain this day. You can tell her eyes are mesmerized by the rain.
Playing with her gardening tools...
She loves playing with bubbles! She likes to put the bubble wand in her mouth and eat them. Silly girl!
Ball pit pool!
Mommy is in trouble!!
Pretty girl watching the sunset in a butterfly dress.
sweeping the floor
She is "going shopping"
After bath giggles!
Here is our silly girl making me laugh again.
She likes playing horsy and getting on daddy's shoulders.
She was trying to wear the laundry basket as a purse and go "bye-bye".
She is also obsessed with belly buttons at the moment. She will randomly lift someones shirt to look at their belly button.
I was trying to teach her to make an "O" face for when she says "Uh-Oh"/
We had a playdate with Erin and Lorelai ( and Athena, the nana-puppy).
This little outfit is adorable. Indie looks like a little rich kid who is about to go sailing and have tea at the country club. Oh my, how I wish that were her/our reality.
It's becoming harder and harder to get pictures of her. The blurriness of the photos show she is always on the move.
Indie and her bear. She might be like momma...carrying a bear until 12 years old. Actually, I still have my childhood bear, and I probably would still carry it if it were socially acceptable. lol
Hmmm.. watch ya thinking about, Indie?
Oh yeah, you are eating a pill bug! lol
Looking like a cute school girl. Are you about to make some lemonade with that lemon squeeze?
In the middle of saying "Uh-Oh" because she dropped the lemon squeeze.
Indie had her last day at daycare. We needed to save money for the move and daycare is quite an expense. It has been good for her though. She loved her teachers, and they loved her. Some of her teachers cried when we told them Indie was moving. It made me sad to see them upset. Indie is obviously a joy to be around.
They made her a good-bye card and signed it. It was the sweetest thing. It made me cry reading the nice things they wrote about her.
I was nervous to put her in daycare at first, but it has been good for her. She was sick pretty much the whole time, but her immune system is getting better. She learned to be a social butterfly, learned to play with other kids, learned to share, and learned that mommy and daddy can't always be around, but we will always come back for her.
It has been raining like that scene on Forrest Gump...ya know when they are in Vietnam and it rained all the time. Yeah, that's how it's been in Texas. It hasn't been good for the garden as it is almost flooded, but Indie and I sure have enjoyed watching the storms.
Indie and Uncle Brad playing.
Indie's last set of daycare pictures.
I really will miss how they did that for the kids. It was a nice service and convenient for busy parents.
Indie wasn't feeling too hot that day, but she sure looked cute!
Little darling!
Princess light saber!
Both of us sick that day. I hate when Indie is sick, but I especially hate when we are both sick. It's hard to care for her when I don't feel well, but I do it anyway because that's what mom's do. That's what my mom did. She came the next day to take care of us.
Having a picnic with Gram.
Opening a present from Aunt Gabby!
Indie got the cutest clothes from Aunt Gabby. I love her face in this picture too. It says, "For me?!? Really?!"
I loved this little Minnie outfit from Tmaw on her!
Uh-Oh! We are in trouble. Indie is trying to open doors now!
Indie really likes that light saber!
After bath laughs
baby bird!
You are my sunshine!
She was being extra silly and sassy this day.
There is a Wiggles song Indie likes about wearing glasses. I sing this to her when I put them on her. It helps her wear them a little while before she takes them off.
"I can see clearly now. I got my glasses on..."
Planting a flower...
Indie is starting to like ponies. When there is a show with a horse or pony on it, she gets really excited points at the TV and gabbers something cute.
Here she is watching a show about ponies while riding one.
She is also starting to get a little more brave and daring. She wants to stand up in chairs, climb things, and create situations where she usually falls and bumps her head. lol
