Betty the Butterball

My little girl is now almost 8  months old! I know it's cliche to say, but I really can not believe how fast time is flying.
My friend, Erin, bought her the most adorable Alice in Wonderland Tutu and onesie, so we took some photos with her Funko Pop stuffed toys.
At 6 months old, Indie likes cuddles and being held, the tags on her toys, Sesame Street, Rainbow Horse, playing peek-a-boo, being naked and bath time, zippers, being silly with daddy, music and singing. She dislikes being buckled into her car seat, changing outfits, and the booger sucker (still).

JPaw and TMaw bought Indie a new bed. She will take her naps in it, but we haven't mastered moving her into her own room yet.

I'm still working on her room, but it's coming together. I still need a new rug and curtains.

Indie also REALLY loves taking a bath, and she looks so darn cute doing it.
Rubber duckies are her favorite bath time toy for now.

I like here she looks like Tony Montana taking a bath in Scarface.

My little girl looks pretty in any color, but man-oh-man, especially blue...it brings out the color in her eyes.

I love snapping pics of her sweet sleeping face.

Those cheeks!!!

Wrapped up in her winter Pj's

My first Ipsy bag came in November. I was not disappointed! I got some killer stuff...that eyeliner though. I loved the bag this time too.

testing out the goodies as soon as they came in.

Indie has so many toys. I'm wondering if I should even buy her Christmas presents because she has so many and "will" get more. However, does she play with the toys? Sometimes. What does she play with? Tissues. Baby wipes. Packaging. Crunchy paper/ receipts, water bottles, cardboard. lol

We also set up her bungee.

She loved it!

It wasn't too long though, she bumped her head on the door frame. I knew it was going to happen, hence, the pillow.

She recovered quick after mama cuddles.

Dressed up for day care!

Jesse's cousin sent us tons of little girl clothes, so we've been having fun playing dress up.

I love this little pea coat. She lookin' pretty dapper in that coat.

I  sing this to Indie ( in the style of "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea) : "Who dat? Who dat? I-N-D-I-E."

She looked kinda gansta in her baggy jeans and hat. haha

She is starting to crawl now! She officially crawled forward on Monday ( 12/08/2015). Her motivation? The play station 4 controller.

Tammy's co-worker made Indie this little hat. It looks so adorable on her.
Here she is at JPaw's and TMaw's.

She really loves animals. She tries to pet kitties and puppies. Reno, their dog, LOVES his baby, and will let her do anything. Winnie...not so much. She's old and cranky.

Indie and Reno were cute playing together. She would grab his tail, and he would clean her face by licking her snot. haha

She's been teething hard lately. Not so good for fussiness, but she does make this adorable sucking face.

We also got to visit Aunt Gabby and Arabella! They were in town for a bit because they were on their way to moving to Georgia. Bella is budding into the beautiful flower we knew she would be, just like her momma. I really wish we lived closer to each other. That just means for now, I will cherish the visits we have.

Indie was fond of Aunt Gabby, and Bella was so sweet to the baby. She kept saying "Baby" and touching her head very soft. I love this pic.

Besties and our babes

Tummy time for Indie

The next weekend, my sister had her sweet sixteen party. It was a flapper, 20's themed party. Mom, Holly, and Brad worked hard putting the decorations up, and they did a great job. It was a nice party.
This was Indie's first birthday party. She looked so adorable in her party dress and headband. :)

She had fun figuring out balloons for the first time. It was so cute! She was holding it all night by the string pulling it so it would bounce up and down.

My momma, the cake boss, made Holly's cake. Each layer was a different cake flavor, and it looked beautiful.
Here is Indie in her 20's party attire.

I made her and Holly's headbands.

Such a beauty!

Here is Gram, Uncle Brad, and Indie enjoying the party, Indie liked pulling his hair.

The next day was a chillaxin' kinda day.

Gram also bought Indie a new jacket. I love how it looks like Louise from Bob's Burgers.
lol cute little bunny rabbit.

Indie LOVES being naked! Momma loves kissin her naked butt.

This is on Thanksgiving Day. Gram bought her a turkey onesie that says "Everyone is thankful for me." It couldn't be more true. She was a really sick girl that day though. She had a bad, congested cough, watery, goopy eyes, runny nose...poor baby couldn't breathe.  Thank goodness for Tammy taking over so we could get a full night's rest. We hadn't slept in a while. lol

She was being a good sport about her sickness though.

Indie didn't get to try any Thanksgiving food this year ( other than mashed peas and sweet potatoes), but she did get her first tooth just in time for the day of eating.
