Anyway, here are some pictures from Indie's Onderland Birthday Party. It was a great party! Everyone in the family helped me and worked really hard to make it special. I felt guilty afterwards because I had forgot to put out so many decorations. I was super sick that day. I was in a Dayquil/ NyQuil fog. Regardless, I think Indie had a great time and it was a successful party.
My friend Erin took some great smash cake pictures of Indie the week before her party!
Here is the smash cake I made for the pictures. I forgot how much I enjoy baking and decorating.
I decided to make Indie's Birthday smash cake in order to save money. I couldn't believe how much some bakeries were going to charge for a small little cake that is going to get crumbled ( like $40!!). I made this cake for under $10 bucks. I tried my best to make it look like the very merry unbirthday cake in Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
Some of these pics were from my phone and some from my camera, so they aren't organized very well. Let's face it; I'm a working mom. I'm good to even get them uploaded and posted. :P
My mom, the real baking connoisseur. made Indie's cupcakes. They were UH-MAZING!
Look at that detail! The little tea pot matches the little tea pot on her party invitations and poster.
I forgot to take a picture of all the party favors! Some were baby Alice, baby Mad Hatter, and baby chesire cat. Inside was a Alice in Wonderland coloring page, a small box of crayons, gummy candy, chocolate candy, and a dragonfly flying toy.
I made the family's recipe for special tea cakes!
Indie's spot
We couldn't find an Alice pinata, but Hello Kitty is even better!
Megan and Crystal helped me make the raspberry punch. It was so delicious!
Mom made some citrus water. I also made custom straws with little Flamingos ( ya know, like when Alice play croquette with them.)
This was one of my favorite party projects: "Don't Step on the Mome Raths."
Friends coming together for party fun!
Indie had so many presents!
There were little tea cups and tea pots hanging on the porch as well as paper fans and lanters.
Indie was enjoying tugging at them.
The Golden Afternoon flowers in a chesire cat vase I painted.
I was very happy with the supplies I got from Birthday Party Direct. I loved the color scheme.
Tammy bought Indie the cutest birthday dress!
Indie and Emma checking each other out.
"Oh hey, friend!"
The weather was a perfect, sunny spring day!
Indie learning how to play pinata. She didn't quite like when the other kids hit the pinata. She would start to cry. I guess she thought they were being mean. lol
Cadence taking a swing!
Gabe's turn!
Indie and Papa Scott
Of course, daddy had to be the hero to bust open the pinata.
CANDY!
Indie definitely loved digging through the candy!
Time to open presents!
Sweet little cutie!!
Pinkie Pie!
One of her favorites: bubbles!!
I love the look on her face like " OOOooo, I can't wait to play with that."
Indie got a rocking horse too!
Princess cowgirl
Indie and Gram
Time for cake!
I was surprised she wore that hat as long as she did. She really hates wearing headbands/hats/ anything on her head. She rips it off as soon as I put it on.
Cadence playing Pin the Grin
It started to get hot and Indie got cake all on her dress, so we let her go naked for a bit. lol
Bubble fun
Indie and Aunt Holly
JPaw, Crystal, and TMaw
Everyone having fun!
Cindy and Jocelyn. I can't believe how much alike Jocelyn and Indie look.
Tailor and Meg
Jocelyn swinging
The food spread!
The kids loved playing on her swing set
Pretty girl in a pretty dress
She looks so happy. I hope she had a good time.
Jocelyn and Indie holding hands. It was the sweetest thing!
That thing took forever to color. lol
Indie was helping me clean up after the party lol
It was starting to get hot out and she got a new bikini, so why not get in ( and pee in) the pool!?
She wasn't digging it very much and wanted to get out soon after we put her in. Look at those butt dimples!!
Happy life!
The next day Indie woke up ready to play with all her new toys!
Time to bubble mow the lawn.
Sweet happy baby!
